I loved hearing and feeling and walking a part of your life with you...I envy the gift of being able to teach. It is not a gift I have. 48 years! WOW yes, there are REAL teachers and they impact your life forever...I would think I would have loved having you for a teacher :) It doesn't surprise me that...you have a food table...you are wise in the ways of college students :) I had a 4th grade teacher that I loved...over the years I have wished he could know the gift he was for me in my life. Due to language barrier's and having a hard time learning english many teachers told me I was to stupid to learn..this man was the first to BELIEVE in me..kind, gentle and he had such passion that learning from him was easy..he made it fun and interesting...I have never forgotten Mr. McCowen..and have always wanted to thank him! I could feel your delight in your students, your love, your pride and also that passing of this seasons class...the ummm moments of letting go...maybe not seeing some of them ever again...and yet...you had moments with them all...moments that helped there path in life...moments that are now endless in memories and gifts of learning. I love that you wear a liegh to honor your parents who helped put you on this path as a teacher. another beautiful post..filled with your heart! love to you Linda!!!
