WEIGHT WATCHER WEIGH IN RESULTS: A New Milestone

Well... I am smiling today as I met one of my short term goals in Weight Watchers. After nine weeks in the program, and losing another .6 pounds, I went over the 20 pound mark!!! :) :)

As of today I have lost...drum roll please... 20.4 pounds!!

Yup, I have lost a 20+ pound frozen turkey from my body!!

This first 20 pounds is one of my goals, but I am far from finished with this life-long process! There are no words to express how happy I am and how grateful I am for the support of those who love me and care about me!

This week I plan to do some experimenting with other healthy receipes, new (to me) weight watcher products, and I am completing my Fitness Challenge at SCC!! This is hard, hard work, but I am invigorated by the challenge!

Stay tuned...you'll see less of me next week!

God Bless! Hugs and loves to all who read this! Love Linda

Super job Linda on sticking with your plan - I think experimenting with recipes is one of the things that I enjoy about the challenge.

Just try to lift that 20 lb frozen turkey or two sacks of potatoes and go for your morning walk. As that number gets bigger and bigger you will be amazed at how heavy those potatoes are and that you had all of that on your body.

I am inspired by your dedication!

Congratulations! I "get"; "Hard, Hard."
Triathlon is certainly the hardest thing I've ever taken on as an individual.
I read through your "One Holiday At A
Time". I admire your determination to not eat anything of the chocolate evil that lurks everywhere from now until January. (I, too, am a chocoholic.) I don't know what kind of a personality you have when it come to this kind of stuff. If you are the burst dam kind of person who will eat the bag if you have one or if your more like me. I can have one and stop.
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I find that if I deny myself entirely, I begin to feel sorry for myself and then I'll soon give up, throw up my hands, and then eat like there's no tomorrow.
I always have to remember that it took me years to put it on; it will take some time to take it off. I know that Weight Watchers are big and reality and moderation. Good program.
I am so happy for you, though, because I know how hard it is to change years of habit. Even though my comfort zone was unhealthy, and uncomfortable as far as clothes fitting tightly, not being able to do things because I had no energy, etc. IT WAS STILL MY COMFORT ZONE. Doesn't make much sense, but there it is.
Keep up the good fight, girl. I can hardly wait to see the "New You".
From someone who definitely understands both how difficult it is and how rewarding the results,
Leni

Nice work. Be sure to reward yourself in some way. I think that is an important part as well.
